An open community for riding and wrenching.
Cola Town Bike Collective started out in the owner’s garage in 2014 has grown to become an influential organization in South Carolina’s transportation and education.
They donate hundreds of bikes a year to people in need of transportation in Columbia, offer free repair services, tools, and parts, and have even installed a dozen free repair stations throughout the city of Columbia. On top of all that, we helped them launch a free web app called Sprocket that allows you to find safe riding corridors to communte the city by bicycle.
Meet the future; the future mode of transportation for this weary Western world. Now I’m not gonna make a lot of extravagant claims for this little machine. Sure, it’ll change your whole life for the better, but that’s all.

Bike!Bike! Conference
In 2018, Cola Town Bike Collective hosted Bike!Bike! Southeast, an annual gathering organized by and for community bicycle projects.
The conference is a space for participants from shops and related advocacy groups to converge in a different city each year over a 4 day period to have workshops and strengthen their social network.
